Written by Market Street Talent | October 29, 2021

As part of our “Get to Know Market Street Talent” series, we introduce you to a member of our team and give you a closer look at the people who drive the success of our company. This week, we’re excited to introduce MST’s new HR Manager, Jennifer McMahon!

What is your role at Market Street Talent?

Some of you that have been with Market Street Talent for a long time may recognize my name. I worked for Market Street Talent over 7 years ago and have now returned to my new old job as the manager of Human Resources and Operations. I handle all the onboarding of new consultants and help to ensure that everyone’s experience working with and at Market Street Talent is smooth and seamless.

How did you first learn about Market Street Talent?

I was introduced to Jennifer Gray by a mutual friend when Market Street Talent was actually located on Market Street.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where is your hometown? What do you like to do on your days off?

I grew up in Stratham, NH, but now consider Hampton, NH home. I live there with my husband, Patrick, two sons, Eamonn, 14, Owen, 13, and our mini-cockapoo named Rollo.
On my days off, I like to spend time with the family, either going to kids games/meets, to the beach, surf, mountain bike, hike, or snowboard in the winter. We have IKON passes and split our time mostly between Sunday River and Loon, but sometimes get over to Vermont.

What was your first ever job?

Lifeguard at Water Country

What is your favorite TV show to binge watch?

Basically, anything that is a crime drama, I am drawn right into…Midsummer Murders, Bosch. My latest favorite is Only Murders in the Building and Nine Perfect Strangers.

What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?

It is important to like what you do. When I am not into what I am doing I find it hard to give it 100% of my attention to it and look for improvements.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Portsmouth?

Go to “Smoothie Town” (aka The Juicery – that is what the kids call it) or Annabel’s for ice cream with the family. I also love to see the flowers in Prescott Park during the summer

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Having left this line of work and then returned, it really has been like I never left! I enjoy this work and I see myself doing the same sort of thing helping people.
