We are so happy to share that our 8th annual Women in Technology event held on October 14th, was a success! What a fantastic night had by everyone who attended! This year’s event, Finding Your Voice Through COVID-19 & Beyond, was our first ever hybrid event. Guests were able to join us both in-person at The One Hundred Club and online through Remo (a huge shoutout to NH Tech Alliance for helping us make the virtual component possible).
Our theme this year focused on what has been happening throughout the last year in the world of tech, women, hybrid work, and candidate movement. Jill McFarland (General Manager at Bottomline Technologies) moderated a discussion between our featured guest speakers, Amy Jackson (Head of Talent Acquisition and Development at Bottomline Technologies) and Kim Schofield (Senior Recruiter at Bottomline Technologies). Our goal was to recognize and discuss how women have felt the impacts of COVID on their everyday life, as well as highlight how have women evolved through the pandemic to not only find, but also use their voice to advocate for themselves. Amy and Kim were able to do just that with their truthful, thought provoking, and insightful dialogue. We’d like to thank them for speaking at our event!
Lastly, we’d like to thank our sponsors NH Tech Alliance and Bad Ass & Bold, as well as our audience! Thank all of those who attended both in-person & virtually. We were joined by familiar faces, as well as many new ones! We so are grateful for the WIT community! It is so special to see how this community has grown the past eight years and we look forward to watching it continue to expand in the years to come. We hope you will all join us for next year for WIT 2022!
