As part of our “Get to Know Market Street Talent” series, we introduce you to a member of our team and give you a closer look at the people who drive the success of our company. This week, we’re excited to introduce MST’s new Media + Marketing Admin, Rachel Komenda!
What is your role at Market Street Talent?
Media + Marketing Admin
How did you first learn about Market Street Talent?
I first found out about Market Street Talent through LinkedIn!
Before working at Market Street Talent, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I have been very lucky with the jobs that I have held previously! I haven’t really had any crazy or unusual experiences. However, one of the best jobs I’ve had was my 6+ years working at a local daycare. I worked in the infant room, so it was the just the best time!
Tell us a little about yourself.
I just graduated from Saint Anselm College in May! I majored in Marketing and minored in Human Relations and Work. I absolutely loved my 4 years there and am so grateful for all of the memories I made. When it comes to my hobbies, my two favorite things ever are traveling and going to concerts.
Fun fact: I have actually been to over 30 concerts!
What do you like to do on your days off?
I love to spend the day in Boston, whether that be grabbing dinner and drinks with friends, going to a concert, shopping, or just walking around. I can never get enough of the city!
What book did you read last?
The Girl Who Smiled Beads by Clemantine Wamariya
What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
You have the power to make a positive impact on everyone you encounter through your kindness and empathy!
What’s your favorite thing to do in Portsmouth?
Try new restaurants with friends!
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Living somewhere WARM! I would be happy to never see snow again haha.
Wine or beer?
Wine (white > red)
Coffee or tea?
Coffee! Specifically an iced caramel latte with almond milk.
Motto or personal mantra?
You can do absolutely anything you set your mind to!
Welcome to MST, Rachel!
